01
Step 1
Free Consultation & 3D Imaging
Your consultation is always with Dr. Chris — not a coordinator or treatment planner. We take a CBCT 3D scan on-site that day, which gives us a complete picture of your bone, sinus anatomy, nerve locations, and existing dentition.
By the end of your appointment, you will have a clear understanding of your options, what treatment will involve, realistic timelines, and investment ranges. No obligation, no pressure.

Step 2
Digital Treatment Planning
Using your CBCT scan and digital impressions, Dr. Chris designs your implant positions, angulations, and final restoration virtually before a single implant is placed. Every dimension of your future smile is planned in the computer first.
This virtual planning stage is what makes our results predictable. Nothing is left to guesswork on the day of surgery.
03
Step 3
Implant Surgery
Surgery is performed in our Scottsdale office under IV sedation or local anesthetic — your preference and your needs guide that decision. Dr. Chris places the implants with guided precision, following the virtual plan exactly.
For W-4 full-arch cases, a temporary set of teeth is placed the same day. You leave with a smile — not an empty mouth.
Full arch patients receive a same-day provisional restoration. You walk out with teeth.
04
Step 4
Healing & Osseointegration
Over the following 3–6 months, your implants fuse with the bone in a process called osseointegration. During this phase, you are seen for regular check-in appointments so Dr. Chris can monitor healing and make adjustments to your provisional as needed.
This healing phase is what creates the permanent, rock-solid foundation that your final restoration will rely on for decades.
05
Step 5
Final Restoration Delivery
Your final restoration is fabricated in our on-site Zirkonzahn laboratory — milled from monolithic zirconia for strength, refined by our ceramist for aesthetics. Dr. Chris seats the final prosthetic and makes all occlusal adjustments in-office.
This is the moment everything comes together. The final result is precisely what was planned at the beginning — because every step was designed to deliver it.
The good news
The same doctor, every single step.
At corporate implant centers and dental chains, your treatment may pass through multiple hands — a treatment coordinator sells the case, a different surgeon places the implants, and a third provider delivers the restoration.
No single person is accountable for the full outcome. At Winterholler Dentistry, Dr. Chris is involved in every stage of your case. He plans it. He performs the surgery.
He evaluates healing. He delivers the final restoration. That continuity is what produces the outcomes we’re known for.
"Same-day doesn't mean done. Getting it truly right takes follow-up, refinement, and a doctor who is invested in your outcome."
— Dr. Chris Winterholler
